Clipping redo, 1967–1979 (2026-11-08)
Andrew flagged that saved newspaper clippings were cut off / blurry. Every 1967–1979 clip in docs/records/
was re-made from the full page image downloaded from newspapers.com (Print/Download → Entire Page → Save as
JPG, full resolution ~2400×4200). The full page is kept next to each clip as <same base>_fullpage.jpg, so any
clip can be re-cut later. Crops were cut at measured blank gutters (no letters on any edge). Each final clip was
viewed and checked: (a) no letters cut at any edge, (b) heading / photo present, (c) body legible.

Method note for the other ranges: the "Save as JPG" download lands in Downloads as a *.tmp (Chrome never
renames it), but the file is a complete JPEG — copy it and open with PIL.
