- Ohio statewide marriage index 1950s–60s: Ohio Department of Health's marriage index begins 1949 but is not on FamilySearch for 1950–69 (only the 1970–2016 index is). Request from the Ohio Department of Health / Ohio History Connection.
- Belmont Co, OH (across from Wheeling): FamilySearch catalog lists only early transcriptions (books A & B, 1801–1821 etc.); the 1950s–60s licenses are at Belmont County Probate Court, St. Clairsville.
- Holly's own 1969 birth certificate names both parents and is the quickest confirmation.
