So Francis ("Frank", "Franklin") died between late 1903 and April 1910. The Frank Coe d. 1901-06-25 Fairmont, aged 32 (saved earlier as UNCONFIRMED) is not him: Francis was alive in June 1900 at 34 and fathered Glenn in 1904. FamilySearch's tree dates him 1868–1901, which is wrong for the same reason.
Searched without success: WV VRR deaths Coe 1903–1911 (all counties: only Lydia Coe 1903 Marshall and a Francis Coe d. 1909 Berkeley Co — a 77-year-old housewife, not him; Marshall/Wetzel/Ohio/Marion county runs empty); FamilySearch WV deaths for Frances/Francis Coe; newspapers.com "Frank Coe" Cameron 1903–1910 (no WV papers). WV death registration was incomplete before 1917, so his death may never have been registered. Next: McMechen / Cameron cemetery records, Marshall County probate (guardianship of the minor children, ~1904–10).
2. William Wylie Coe + Eunice Drummond marriage (~1921–24) — still not found
- Minnesota (MOMS, statewide): Drummond/Eunice → no records. Coe/William → only Beltrami Co 1923-12-12 William H. Coe × Marybell Brown (not ours) and a 1915 Coenen.
- Earlier, also negative: Ohio, Indiana, Kentucky statewide (FamilySearch); FamilySearch all collections Coe×Drummond (only an 1896 Montana couple).
- Not reachable online here: North Dakota (no statewide marriage index online; county clerks), Manitoba marriages 1921–24 (Manitoba Vital Statistics marriage search not run for Coe/Drummond in this pass), Michigan/Illinois.
3. Lizzie (McClinaghan) Drummond's death (1916–1919) — not in Manitoba
Manitoba Vital Statistics death index, surname Drummond (75 entries, all read): no woman of ~37–42 in 1914–1921. Female deaths in range: Elizabeth Mary 1915 (28, Wpg), Cecilia 1917 (2 mo), Eliza 1917-12-12 (64, Wpg), Margaret 1918 (73, Woodworth), Gracie 1920 (1), Elisa Jane 1921 (55, Whitehead) — none fit. She probably died in Saskatchewan or the US. Not searched yet: Saskatchewan death index (eHealth Sask genealogy search), Ontario.
4. Patrick Drummond + Margaret Sullivan — not found
FamilySearch: Martin Drummond b. 1865–73 with father Patrick → only his own 1919 KY marriage, 1924 OH death, 1919 border crossing, 1911 census. Canada residence 1871–1891 → no Martin Drummond household (only unrelated Thomas M., Ida M., Esther M., Christine M.). Patrick Drummond with wife Margaret, 1865–95 → only Scottish couples (Margaret Winton, Margaret Ward) and an Illinois Patrick + Margaret Donlon — none fit. Manitoba birth index lists no parents, so it cannot confirm Lizzie's maiden name. Martin's birthplace varies (England / Ireland / Canada / Michigan); a Michigan or US birth is possible.
